Description: Stummel with ellipsoid bowl.
Three quarter length portrait of a scantily clad young lady against a purple backdrop.
Mountings of silver gilt, with matching reservoir, bearing the English hall marks:- Leopard’s head, Lion, “f” and Queen Victoria’s head. The maker’s mark, “JT”, probably for John Teare, is stamped on the spigot.
The reservoir unscrews for cleaning.
The pipe came with a stem of stag’s horn inlaid with mother-of-pearl and tortoise shell, total length 530 mm.
