Description: Portrait bowl, modelled as an Egyptian.
The crossed swords mark is an imitation of the Meissen mark. Since the mark is applied over the glaze, it is possible that only the decoration was carried out at Samson’s, and that the body was made elsewhere.
Brass lid and mountings, originally gilded.
