Description: Stummel with ellipsoid bowl.

In the Sevres style, “jewelled” with red, green and white enamels over gold foil. The reverse of the bowl is also jewelled.

The painting is  after "Portrait of a Man" 1635 -1640, by Gerrit Dou. The original painting now hangs in the National Gallery, London.
